Chinese experience!

If the Chinese doing our roads were to report back to their friends back home, what would be some of their observations?

Stealing of metal supports would be one of the experiences they would file. Greed that drives one to cut off and wheel away such public assets is just unimaginable. On a flyover near Thika from Nairobi they left the road perilously bare. By some luck, no accident has happened todate - to my knowledge.

The government can do more!

Harambee stars

And our Kenyan soccer is turning on the nation.

Our stars have had some three good matches in the recent past. The boys beat Guinea and Zimbabwe. Yesterday, the drew with the Zims at Rufaro stadium.

We are on track for 2010 qualifications. The remaining one game against Namibia. It will be sometime in september.

The weekend was otherwise very busy with a meeting with farmers on saturday and a visit to a client sunday etc.

Life

Sometimes i wonder how life is unpredictable. My uncle, a teetotaller, walks for an average of 2 hours for five days in a week has been diagnosed with diabetes. We do not have a history of the condition in our family. The man stays in the village and fast food is not part of his diet.

I owe alot to him. He has stood by me in critical times of my life.

Politics

THE Kenya political scene is heating up ready for the expected december polls. The main opposition party ODM is set to suffer a major blow soon IE in less than a weeks time. As Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka go different ways, the incumbent Mwai Kibaki is set to have an easy time getting another term of 5 years.

Meanwhile am having a good time with some African vibes courtesy General Defao.

cynma

Life has been hectic at the office. A client in the micro finance industry engaged our services and we were kept on our toes for the last 3 weeks. Am looking forward to more fulfilling assignments from clients.
Arsenal, my team at the english premier league has recovered to some astounding performances.
On Kenya's political front, it has been as murky as ever. Fortunately, the economy seems to give no attention to the political shenanigans.
